This video explains how to install the Data Analysis Toolpak in Excel 2016 for Mac in order to do statistical calculations. It was prepared for a statistics course using Pagano's Understanding. When I try to install the data analysis add-in for excel 2016 for mac, it's not listed as an add-in available to install. (Solver is, but I don't need Solver.) When I hit browse, it brings up files on my machine, but it's not clear where I should look for it manually to install it. It's meant to be included in the 2016 download correct? I can't find any information on where it is, I've searched my computer for the files that used to be associated with the add-in in previous versions of office. ![]() Can't find them. Pretty frustrated right now. Data Analysis was the only reason I updated to 2016, since the update to Word removed all the features I liked from 2011. I'm running Excel for Mac 2016 version 15.22. In this version, Tools > Excel Add-ins. Shows Atp and Solver Add-In in the list of Add-ins available. Microsoft visio for mac trial download. • Excel for Mac has added slicers to pivot tables. • Excel for Mac has a new user interface. It's less cluttered, cleaner and sleeker-looking, more logically organized, more colorful and simpler to use. • Excel for mac has a standardized look and feel. 'Atp' seems to be this version's entry for Analysis ToolPak, i.e., the add-in which many other current versions of Excel call Data Analysis. When I check the box for Atp and click OK, the Tools menu has the item Data Analysis. If I uncheck the box for Atp in the Add-ins available list and click OK, the Tools menu does not have the Data Analysis item. As Joseph suggested, make sure that your Office 2016 software is fully updated. The Analysis ToolPak was a latecomer to the program, so if you're still using an outdated build you may not have it. When you open the Tools menu do you see Data Analysis. If so, that's what you're looking for. It already should be available, there typically should be no need for a separate 'installation' & it isn't listed in Excel Add-Ins. Please mark HELPFUL or ANSWERED as appropriate to keep list as clean as possible ☺ Regards, Bob J.
